Richard spent most of his career working in technology, data, and the corporate world, where he learned that the most interesting part of almost any meeting usually had nothing to do with the meeting.

He’s always been drawn to the stories people tell when the script disappears — the strange turns, bad decisions, lucky breaks, hard lessons, and moments that become family legend years later.

The Best Stories Are Yours grew out of a simple belief: you don’t have to be famous to have lived a story worth hearing.

Richard lives in Texas with his wife, Tammy, and is happiest somewhere between a good conversation, a live concert, and whatever rabbit hole looked interesting that morning.
